Grounding
Grounding is the most powerful beginning tool to developing your intuition. It is a feeling of self-awareness, a feeling of being part of the earth, the universe.
It establishes a connection between the body, the mind and the spirit.
Gravity is a powerful healing force and gravity is part of grounding.
Grounding settles you. Put into practice as a meditation practice, affirmation, visualization, a feeling or an emotion it can heal, soothe and open you up to your intuition.
Some suggested grounding images:
big strong tree
waterfall
mountain
tall concrete buildings
light beams
pyramid
rainbow
an electric current with a socket at the bottom of the earth
any image that connects you with the earth
It can be music, tones, or sounds. Whatever works for you.
When you are grounded you tend to be calm, confident, physically coordinated, have mental clarity, reach goals easily, have warm feet and legs, and a strong low back and abdomen.
When you are less grounded you tend to feel anxious, unsure, become clumsy, have difficulty concentrating, harder to reach goals, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, have cold feet and hands, low back pain and soreness.
